thanks

in transformers ..

howd u explain

why a secondary output is obtained even though there is no electrical connection between the primary
and secondary coils??

hey, all numerical answers must be in 3 significant figures. its easier and foun much acceptable by mark schemes.

this due to the alternating current, since they keep changing in direction.
the alternating current from the primary coils is cut by the secondary coil ,inducing it with emf. so the secondary coils now have an emf enduced..

any help or confusion u have do ask me..

^ .. isnt that a lil complicated explanation mates .. think ts simpler ..anyhows heres my version ..

A Secondary Output is obtained because when an ac  Current passes through the Primary Coil .. a constantly
changing magnetic field is produced.. so although the two coils have no wires linking them the magnetic field
produced by the first coil reaches and "cuts" (As its constantly changes its direction for ac current) the secondary coil
therby inducing a current in it .. which is known as "Electromagnetic Induction" .. Faraday uncles theory .. =]

dude
u jus changed ur answer

"this is due to the iron core u see, very small amount of electrical filed is present in the wires which  induces and emf on the secondary coild due to the iron core."

wht r u doing?

yup ,  didnt read the question well,my mistake

i was gonna say to the other guy tht he did not answer to the question where it was said with no electric current, then i reallised wat i wrote was truly freaken complicated, so i thought i better change it b4 u read it and get confused....
