Nightmare Vision of the Future
« on: August 14, 2012, 03:10:58 pm »
I have been thinking for a while about 'Google in your brain' - a google chip in your brain so that you only have to think something to be able to google it.
Google makes search results available to governments if they receive a subpoena. This means essentially that governments will only have to subpoena google to find out what you think - your entire thought history.
FRIGHTENING!

I've been thinking of attaching a memory chip to our brain for $1 million and we don't have to memorize anything in our brain for our whole life. Brain just thinks and processes information stored in the chip...

Of course, govt. controls who gets the chip :P

What about a maths degree on a chip in your brain? Cos maths is just so many algorithms and proofs. Perfect for a chip. Get a maths degree in one easy hospital visit.

Government cant control who gets the chip. You can go to somewhere where they just dont give a hoot. The problem will be when they remotely read the chip when you pass through airport security for example.
