Amazing I cancelled my subs to The Ecologist, which Ive taken for about 6 years, because theyve done 2 reviews of PO related books, one paragraph, and an article which was about 4 years ago. For a magazine constantly scouring for items of such news I regarded it as an increasingly bizarre omission and I told them so in several letters, including the one where I cancelled my subs.
Ive decided instead to subscribe to Permaculture magazine - it had covered Peak Oil in the editorials of the previous 3 issues and has a whole story on preparing for PO in the current issue. The current issue also has a review of James Kunstlers Long Emergency and the Kinsale Energy Descent plan. Couple this with three articles in the latest issue that made my eyes wet with the joy of reading the practical, beautiful and sustainable projects that people are involved in and you may see why my vote goes where it does.
No interest ... only satisfied customer .. blah blah
