These units are
somehow have the same format since the beginning of the new syllabus.
Unit 3 will have 2 questions
Question 1 will test you on the core practicals listed in the AS Biology Unit 1 + 2 specification (in bold). Question 2 will test your reporting skills
Unit 6 which you might find harder; will have 3 questions
Question 1 tests your knowledge and understanding of the experimental principles and applications of the practical work you have undertaken in Units 1, 2, 4 and 5.
Question 2 will test your data handling skills (statistical tests, graphs..etc)
Question 3 will test your ability to plan a safe scientific investigation
In each paper there is a "scientific article" that is given out before the exam in a good period, you will have to read it, understand it and predict the type of questions they might ask you about it. Usually there are some "predicted" questions that are posted here in the forum so please keep checking every now and then.
While Unit 6 can be found a bit harder. It includes a "scientific article" that is different each year.

3) You need to know all the experiments mentioned in the specification. Hence they are found in bold.
