MATH P4 [IGCSE] HELP!
« on: May 16, 2009, 07:19:43 pm »
This is a question from the spec. paper 2009...about the bar height of the histogram...what do you do after you find the frequency density?

Thanks!

He didnt ask For histrogram,
he asked for cumilative frequency
However, if u want to find the height then use this ratio
F.d=Frequency divided by ClassWidth
and usually height equals the to the F.D

Yeah for the cumulative frequency, but when I find the FD, that's right but it's not the final answer...?

              Frequency
class with(difference between two numbers                    = Frequency density

After that you draw a scal in the y axis for the frequency density and on the x axis you put the class widths e.g 30 to 40
You then draw the bars.
