mono cot has gaurd cells on both upper and lowe epidermis
but diocot only hs on the lower epidermis

NaCl with yeast mite come.....iv bin gettin info from many ppl sayin its gonna come........Yeast produces CO2 (which reduces PH) by respiration.......NaCl disrupts the osmotic balance and reduces yeast growth....thus less CO2 wiull be produced and PH drop will be less.............the question mite tel us to test different concentrations of NaCl and record the number of bubbles in a specific time and the PH drop at every concentration......it mite ask to draw a graph and put forward a conclusion....

By reason for xerophytes i meant that it could ask abt the visible adaptations for low transpiration in the slide and the reasons how its slows water loss...........

PLAN DIAGRAMS ONLY HAVE LINES TO SHOW DIFFERENT TISSUES....U CANNOT AND SHOULD NOT DRAW GUARD CELLS.....however, i usually leave blank spaces in lines to show presence of stomata.........here in monocots...stoma'll b present on both upper n lower surfaces....

Yea....concentration of NaCl increase......PH drop decreases......and number of bubbles decreases.....but watch out for it in the practical....

I don't think you need to incorporate so many lines into your plan drawing, if you'll look back, someone has drawn the lines for it, I think that person was right.

the one he drew...does nt have guard cell...

i want to include guard cell like what harker said...
you can put spaces in between to show guard cells present...

anyone wanna show how to draw?

why urs doesnt have cuticle layer on top?

and why is there another extra layer after the spongy and before the lower epi?

Yeah, this is right. I mean, this is how you draw a plan diagram.
But how do you show the stomatal pore? Or will that be a separate part to the question?

@ bottlerockets..................presence of stomatal pores imply absence of lower epidermis........so i usually leave spaces in the epidermis...u cant draw guard cells because its not a tissue....

@ blablabla........................yea, u hav to draw vascular bundles where required as circles.....not perfect circles but u have to make three or four portions of it.....namely....xylem, cambium, phloem n then sclerenchyma(if present)...hope it helps... :)
