Question 2/c

I don't understand at all!
how do they use the tan rule, it's not a triangle !!
and where did the 1.5 come from..?


need help guyz..

just draw the trapezium

the base = 12 cm

the upper part = 9 cm
(the middle should be at 4.5)

and the height is 7 cm

It says---> opposite lenght/adjecent length....
