You should study by practicing paper 4.

Things you should DEFINETELY study:
1. Formulas (obviously!)
2. Function graph (never came in paper 2)
3. Sequences (never came in paper 2 and which I detest)
4. Percentages (usually the first question in each paper every year)
5. Probability (never came in paper 2)
6. Cummulative frequency / statistics (never came in paper 2)
7. Mensuration (surface area and volume questions - never came in paper 2)
8. Transformations

Can't think of anything else right now but if I do I'll post it.
Did I help/
Hope so cos I racked my brain for you!

Rockstar:
Are you doing the IGCSE exams?
How will it help you if you get to know the paper after we've done it?
I'm really confused with your post.  ???

lol. it was I did 1886.. or 1888 and I noticed tht the earlier papers (before 1990's)
are well easy ... so ttheres no point in practicing them, but practicing, from 1990 onwards is good revision..

imagine
when do u think that cie was established
ok if we take 1950
now imagine some does all the papers for maths    [all core and extended]
from 1950 to 2008

that will be 58 years
and each year 2 session   58 x 2 = 116 sessions
                       each session 4 papers or more   116 x 4= 464 papers
116 paper 1s    116 paper 2s   ...........
and the total time for all 4 papers (approx) 90 mins + 60 mins + 90mins + 150 mins
so
116 x 90mins and ..............
10440 mins + 10440 mins + 6960 mins + 17400 mins  = 45240 mins

that is eqaul to 2714400 seconds
or
31 days and 10 hours to do all past papers.
now if we take 8 hours for sleep and 2 huors for food
and other time for checking
......

it will take more than 3 months
lol
