Lets revive this topic. ;D

Definitely being single is better. Less interference. Less duties. A high level of flexibility. Not to mention we students are not even in a stage so as to think of marriage itself! ::)

Both have their benefits at their right time.  :D
At the moment, being single at 18 is the right thing for me cos I don't want any distractions and concentrate mainly in my studies.
After finishing uni, I would like to get married, IA. :P :D
So basically, I'd go with married life after some years! :D

I think it's not a flat rate or something. Marriage, or copulation, has been the trend of all animals, humans inclusive, since we existed. Society has tried really hard to define how and when marriage should occur, as well as associated ideals with it, but the bottom line is: not everyone is going to get married or in a relationship at the same time as others. Yes, most people marry in a certain age bracket, but the variation is enormous across the board. I know it's much to do with social and cultural factors, but within a particular society and class, there is a lot of variation. Why? It varies from person to person. Someone may be ready to marry and manage their studies at the age of, say, eighteen while someone who's done with their studies and not even working may still be unprepared. I want to marry when it's the right time for me, and that can be now or ten years later. People can whine about it all they want: my marriage, my husband, my chocolate. :P
All that is on earth will perish:
But will abide (forever) the Face of thy Lord--full of Majesty, Bounty & Honor.
Then which of the favors of your Lord will ye deny?
