Social Networking Nuisance??

Hello there SF Friends  ;D

Ok since 'apparently' everyone uses Facebook, Twitter.....these days, too many of us are addicted to them... :(

Ever considered all those cases of hacked accounts and money phishing scams? Not to mention the zillions of times people are abused online.... ::)

So.....Have you ever encountered any strange experience using such sites? Or are they always pleasant ones?...Feel free to share  :P

2nd Option I assume. Trying to be the last option though but lol not working.

And the word 'fun' in option number 2 got different definition from person to person. My fun would be learning, researching, chatting to those who are distant from me, change..make a change since the internet got a great influence on us.

I only use Facebook to make status updates and keep in touch with friends. I may use it occasionally when I'm bored for fun by liking pages :P looking for friends in the suggestions tab or playing a few games. But that's it--I don't use Twitter or any other social networking site.

Haha Ancestor and Chingoo, same case ::).....but Chingoo 'liking' pages? That must get boring....the same pages again and again....

And I don't know how I got stuck on FB....it has done nothing but affected my grades :-\

Hmm......My Friend, deactivating is a too hasty decision...it cannot be reactivated then can it?

I used a simpler technique...I told my sis to change my password for me and choose her own.....so now that's a win-win situation  ;D

No, you can deactivate it. And then reactivate it when you wish by just logging in.

But yes, the technique you described is a foolproof one. ;)

'Miss Scholar' >> that's a GREAT compliment! But I assure you..I still didn't reach that level yet. It's my dream though..to be one! :D

Change of myself, change of the people around me.. I was told a lot before from some internet pals that I changed their lives. haha...gives me unlimited happiness in my heart. Alhamdolilah.

I know I can't change the internet world or the real world but I also know that the real change starts from myself. =]

So, I forgot to ask...which option did you choose?

I admire you too. You're a lot different than the Shoshou Mony we used to know before! Much more patient, much more persistent and much more intelligent! :D
