Here's a book list I would recommend:

1. Enid Blyton; Famous five, Secret Seven etc...
2. Eoin Colfer; Artemis Fowl series, supernatural etc...
3. Christopher Paolini; Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr...
4. Robert Ludlum; stand-alone spy thrillers, definitely worth a read, though you may get intimidated by the length and complexity... for advanced readers
5. Terry Brooks; Shannara series; dark fantasy, for advanced readers.
6. Alistair McLean; amazing use of language. stand alone spy/action thrillers, generally nautical in nature, of moderate length.

Ah well, call me a nerd, but I love novels (and hate study books).... and no, I don't wear thick-rimmed glasses, or any glasses for that matter....

I just came back from the library 30 mins ago! :D

I went to become a member there and it is AWESOME alhamdolilah! I would stay there forever and never get back home. :P

Just got 3 books from there. Will read them soon inshAllah!

Just finished reading The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy.



Loved it. ^_^
Story was really interesting. :D
The author is gifted with her writing skill specially with her awareness of the natural world.
Must read fer any book lover! ;D
Plus, I heard there many controversies due to this book. ::)

"The Matarese Circle" is a work typical of his style... Also the whole "Bourne" series which was made into movies too... the movies got very famous I hear....
He did write two comedic spy thrillers; they are hilarious! "The Road to Gandolfo" and its sequel "The Road to Omaha"...



Who hasn't read and liked JKR's HPs?? Everybody likes them so no need to even mention em, imo... :P

Hmmmm. . .  It is a story about the childhood experiences of fraternal twins whose lives are destroyed by the "Love Laws" that lay down "who must be loved, and how, and how much". The book is a description of how the small things in life affect people's behavior and their lives. (:

It seems nice. I'll write it's name down and research it inshAllah. I'll also be reading when the moon splits the one you recommended when I get my       e-reader inshAllah in August. I'll have the option of reading all books online because of the e-reader inshAllah! :D

I believe that children of this world are the future, so it's very important to me that they get well-raised and well-treated. =]
