syllabus doubts help ???ASAP

guys I am really confused I donot know what is the difference between  specification of GCE 2000 and GCE from 2008 plz tel me if u know

If you started learning your GCE-A Levels after the year 2008 then you will follow the 2008 specification.

After the year 2008 there was a massive change in syllabus and the past papers were modified heavily in terms of structure.
