liberate Afghanistan from whom..now that there is no more USSR and it was not NATO who came to liberate Afghanistan....there were only the local mujahideen funded by America through Pakistan and some were even trained to fight against the USSR...America provided the mujahideen with weapons...
later after9/11 america sent its troops to Afghanistan saying that there were terrorists in Afghanistan who were a threat to America...america sent its troops on 7thoctober 2001...and they are still there...
Definitly army is required but im just saying that instead of staying there for too long NATO should try to improve the Afghan army and police so that they can handle the terrorists themselves....i mean its good for the Nato soldiers...how long are they going to keep this war...
