SOICOLOGY IGCSE?? im going to TAKE!!?? i have to STUDY ALONE! :O

so the schol isnt doing sociology.. so im gna do it on my own and on the last 2 or 3 months take private lessons, can someone give me the syllabus please!?? i have alot of notes from my friends thanks to her  but i dont know where to start from and how to study or wat?? i have the book though plz heelp!!

Study everything in the textbook and make sure you know EVERYTHING in the syllabus.

Start with the first chapter in your textbook and continue onwards. Keep checking the syllabus after each topic to ensure you know everything in that topic.

Okay there is A LOT for me to say and i hope i can actually right it all

Anyways firstly I MUST warn u for me it was a really difficult subject for me to handle tho that teacher taught me at school cuz it's like she's good in explaining  but when it comes to Past papers do NOT even let me start talking abt it (cuz she GOES real FAST and ur like WHAT THE HELL did she just say ).

Secondly i suggest/think that u MUST take tuitions with her for the Solving Past papers for me my dad helped me but what if u do NOT have anyone to help u so Plz do take tuition with her . Cuz she'll be taking better care of u when ur in tuition u know , so that's what i recommend

Thirdly , When it comes to sociology read this ;

1. It's not ALL abt memorizing *first u gotta Understand the syllabus then Memorize the defenitions and impo points   *

2. U need to solve the past papers from June 2004-June 2010 and let a teacher supervise ur work ... cuz it's no use if u do it alone !!

3. the Amazing fact abt sociology is that u get to pick which Qs to answer , rather than having to answerr the whole Question Paper.....

4. it consists of Paper 1 which is abt 2 and a half hrs.... and Paper 2 which is abt 45 minutes i guess .

5.Paper 1 : u need to to solve 3 Qs og ur OWN choice + Q.1 in the Question paper which is compulsory
Paper 2 : u need to solve ONLY 3 Qs of ur OWN choice .


Habeebti  u need to know smthn that u get to choose at least 5 topics from the 8 that u got in the book in order to be ABLE of solving the Past paper (Pick the chanpters u r realy good at )

This means u MUST read ALL the topics CAREFULLY so that u make a WISE decision .

My socio teacher we have to know the 8 Topics in case smthn (GOD FORBID) happens like the Qs for the lessons  u studied were TOO hard and u couldn't asnwer it   in that case u've got to at least have a GENERAL idea abt ALL the topics .

What else ya5i I'm out of words and ideas ..

Hmm as i told u start with the easy topics NOT past papers ......idurros 2awal

Start with Research Methods/Sociology's first chapter in the book ... then the topic Family .....I suggest u go with the sequence of the book ....Bas i'd rather u NOT take Politics Seriously Nor Media  *this is just a personal Opinion*

P.S. Read ALL the topics Ba3deen 8ariri what You Want to do in the past papers

u know i think sociology will be easier to me maybe than u ? cuz i love reading about life and society n stuff n they canceled sociology in skwl again they were gna give but not enough girls were taking XD  thanks alot sis ur too kind im gna photocopy the sociology n give bk thanksss grr i started with the family
