hey...if u r going 2 study in d UK den u can check d application form dat u hav 2 submit, if u apply on paper(srry i dunno abt UCAS). As far as i noe d unis in d UK ask u 2 state all d grades n marks u hav got INCLUDING ANY RESITS on ur application form. The unis in d UK, like d imperial college, uni of london says dat dey do accept students who hav resat papers even in medicine, which is quite competitive, but u must hav got a minimum of CCC in d 1st sitting. I hope u understand what i mean.

 A/B in english language
Minimum B in Bilogy.

And a minimum of a D in math and physics ( if i performed horribly)
