Legalise Drugs

Acid (LSD), Crack, Ice (methamphetamines), grass (marijuana) etc. have plagued mankind for quite some time.

Recently the Mexican President had opened up a debate as to whether Drugs should be legalised in Mexico.

For those who dont know, Mexico is in the middle of a massive Gang conflict that is affecting the whole country. Gangs enter churches and demand worshippers to pay money for their protection.

Nuns have been raped and people are dying on the streets every day. The cartels are truly at war.

The president has theorised that by legalising drugs the supply to the market would increase and hence the Cartels would go bust....

After all their main source of income (pedalling drugs) would now be open to the general public.

Your views on the matter please.

Legalising drugs is accepting defeat. If this is done, more and more mexicans will be habituated to drugs, which is definitely not acceptable.

The government should gather the army, and conduct an operation, to shoot all drug sellers and traders. This is violence, but is necessary in this case.

well not all drugs should be legalized.... prolly only marijuana should! haahahahahh

the presidnt could legalize weed cuz unlike other drugs.. you dnt lose ur mind... and do illegal stuff..
in the old daays they used to say and advertise... tht if u smke weed and the someone comes into the room.. u are most likly gona kill them... or that u might decide to run naked around the streets.... these assumptions were later proven wrong, as u are still concious of most thigs your doing!!... and plus there were noo cases of ANYONE overdosing on weed unlike other drugs!!!

furthermore, after smokin weed u get the known 3 side effects... hungry , happy, sleepy.. ( taken from KATT WILLIAMS,, ahahahaah ).... and it also relaxes you... makin you not worry about life's problems for a while!! and also its used mediacally to treat some diseases... so a we can see it has benifits!!

and if a person gets the munchies ( gets extremley hungry ) then they would SPEND money on food and drinks.... increasing the GDP of the coutry by a small amount...but imagine if alot of people smoked weed.. then that little ammount would rise concidebraly... helping the country to rise from economic slumps and reduce inflation...!!

last but not least... weed is NOT a drug... it is actually a plant!  unlike other drugs which are chemicaly altered....and it is also non-addictive!!! and as willie nelson : “I think people need to be educated to the fact that marijuana is not a drug. Marijuana is an herb and a flower. God put it here. If He put it here and He wants it to grow, what gives the government the right to say that God is wrong?”
