Vague definition of Sand at best. You have to be certain whether you have to count silt or pebbles or both.

There are more molecules in A4 paper th&n sand at beach  ;D

A sand grain has a number of ranges of sizes, but 1mm diameter is typical. So for simplicity let's use that size.
