Non-Ferrous Substances canno be attracted by magnts and cannot be made into magnes such as copper and all insulators

Ferrous Substances can be attracted by magnets and can be made into magnets eg. Iron, steel

dont freak out its easy
its just a name given to materials that get attracted to magnets and can b magnets
eg  nickel

non-ferrous are materials that arent attracted to magnets and cant b made into magnets

eg copper
