Q.6).     The answer is A. The centripetal force (center-seeking force) always act towards the center.

Q.11).   The answer is B. The pressure of the gas is 200 kPa above the atmospheric pressure, that makes the pressure of the gas 300 kPa. Now when the volumes doubles, the pressure halves. This is because the pressure and volume are inversely proportional.

Q.18).   The answer is A. As the evaporation takes place, the volume of the water decreases causing a considerable decrease in the surface area along with it. As we know that larger the surface area, larger will be the rate of evaporation. So as the surface area is decreasing, the rate of evaporation is also decreasing.

Q.28).   The answer is B. As you know that the voltage remains the same in the parallel circuit, you will first find the voltage from the given 6 ohms and 4 amperes. The voltage comes out be 24V. Now find the total resistance of the parallel circuit which will come out to be 4 ohms. Now you have the voltage and resistance, so u can find out the current by using I=V/R (I=24/6).

Q.34).   The answer is D. The voltage also decreases as the rotations of the coil become less.

Q.37).   The answer is C. (I can't really explain you this question because it requires some numerical working and understanding).

I hope I helped...!! :)

The coin doesn't move...it is still in its position while the turntable is rotating so the frictional force acts towards the center due to the direction of the rotation. I hope now u understood it...

Moment= Force X perpendicular distance from the pivot.

F=2N

perpendicular distance=QC=0.3m

So moment=2X0.3=0.6Nm  A
