Yes.....we got the percentage marks....

They make some complex calculations to get the grades but this time the thresholds were roughly the same that schools use for their grade classifications

From our class 5 got A*s and the corresponding percentage marks were 93,93,91,91,90
For A the marks were.....80,86,86,88
For B they were all in the 70s.........one guy got 79
For C they were in the 60s

I got 93......

It is::

90 - 100 = A*
80 - 90 = A
70 - 80 = B
60 - 70 = C
50 - 60 = D
40 - 50 = E
30 - 40 = F
20 - 30 = G
and 20- = Ungraded (U)

though mine very disappointing work in Hindi!!

Yes, roughly that..........although they break the marks into listening and reading/writing

Nobody can predict accurately what will come in the exams. Just practice more and you should be fine.
