We live in a nation of poverty and most of our parents have seen this dirt, poverty, joblessness and the time when India was socialist.

Thus, to prevent us from suffering the same thing they pressurize us to study hard and do well.

In effect we are good at studying because we NEED to be the BEST.

The world is competitive and we as Indians see mental prowess as more important than wealth or anything else.

Investing in education provide very large LONG TERM dividends.
