Easy math?  :) But WITH LOGIC. Accounting is pretty easy at the start. Then starts getting tougher. As goes the saying "Never judge a book by its cover". The accounting books, lol.

It's good to do what YOU WANT to.

Many base their decisions on external factors.


Actually, am sending back the question to you: is accounting boring for YOU?  ;)

No, accountant is not at all a boring job as one of my friends is into this field and seems quite satisfied. Career choice depends mainly upon your self-interest.
With a degree in economics you can also begin your career with government enterprises, public undertakings, investment firms, business journals and newspapers. The Indian Economics Services and Reserve Bank of India are also excellent options open to those who want to join government services.
