Why MUST we live, since anyway we are going to die?

Leaving aside religious views, I expect an honest and sincere answer, preferably from personal experience.To note: I have asked, why MUST we live, not why DO we live.

Why do you think we must live?


I asked this question in Yahoo Answers and Speaking24. Let’s see where we get the best answers!

P.S. It's not a debate, just asking for your views. And am not asking anyone to die either.  :P

well as a human, i always feel curious about pretty much everything that i do not know of
if i die, what will i be missing? is it good things? i dont want to miss it! is it bad things? how bad is it, lemme get a taste of it!
whether you believe in afterlife or you don't, at the end of the die we all agree that after we die, we will be in a permanent stage, be it eternal death or eternal life, so life is just a short thing, we just want to get the maximum taste out of it

I believe there's a purpose for anything exsisting in life!! Regarding your question...why must we live, since anyway we are going to die?!
There are plenty of things out in this life we should experience...whether it's sweet or bitter...these things what makes our living a worth while journey! Living gives you this opportunity after your death to compare both worlds..which one is better than the other and this i guess depends on what u have done to this world...I always do my best to enjoy as much as i can in this life..so if i leave it i have no regrets for missing anything in it  ;)

I am living in order to fulfill a certain purpose of mine - Money, Power, Fame and Popularity! This is why I MUST live.

Everybody has a purpose whether they realize it or not. And everything that has a beginning has an end.

* I am not being philosophical here! :D Just the truth! ;D *

Why do you play a game?? Its gonna end sometime..
You play it for the fun of it..
Well hypothetically considering life like a huge game.. we play it for the fun, drama, prosperity, fame and all..
People have diff objectives in life and our life is like a huge clock ticking down to the end point..
We must complete our objectives before it..
And if you die happy..you win the game..
Sad.. you lose..

Okay.. lol.. and my own view.. i live life... cos i dont wanna die now.. got a few things to do before my clock ticks down..  :)

i believe we all have a purpose in life... and also there is an afterlife which is a result of THIS life...
so i live to try reach the goal of my life n also to better my living condition in the next life...
n life is soo much fun if u have a +ve aspect...

i love helping pple... esp psychologically ( ::) duno if its well written) so i make it a must that i help all those i can... even those i dnt like...

n i must llive so that i become a better person as i grow up n gain wisdom n knowledge.... :)

I believe we live inspite knowing we ar dying its natural cycle everything has end
but we live a life to fullfill our aims ,dreams ,experience  .everyone has target in his life
life is beautifull if u hav everything and ur happy but despite dat it is boring if u don't work hard 4 wat u want .
it is the nature of human that they always want more to gain and dats why they want to live more
