The business exam was really sh*t :-X .. No time to think at all   :-\.. I asked all the private Candidates who gave exam in my school ( I am the only business student in my whole school for AS ) .. they all were like we Left the last 3 or 2 questions .. and everyone is complaining about time .  :(
 :'(

I think the grading will remain the same .. 80% to achieve A , 70% B , 60% for C and so on ..

 i very much doubt that we were the only candidates to find the paper too lengthy..if anything, i would have thought the examiners would take into account the length, and mayb drop the grade boundaries  ::)

Business and Economics is the Exam name for business studies and also for business /economics .. we  happy all have the same paper ..

Hamza .. dont be too the examiners are not that merciful ... and espcially with the last question >> it has Asterisk * which means it has a great deal of importance ..

unless all around the world the students find it lengthy then they will consider some mercy on us ..

but i dont think so .. because out there , there are some monsters who are able to finish the whole paper in NO time and Excellently !!!!

ok .. out of the whole paper .. these are what i remember and i screwed up in it because i had no time to think even a little ..

I am not sure which question was it .. but it was like  >>>  60 meals , 12 variable cost and 120 fixed cost and we had to calculate the total average variable cost .. who's formula is Total variable cost / Level of output

I was So dummmy ( Definitly wasn't thinking because of time ) , I wrote the formula correct but the Answer wrong ..  12/60=0.2 and i put my answer as 2. Duuuhhh!!!

I should have did it like this ..  60 meals * 12 variable cost = 720 ; 720/60= 12 .

>_<"""

the last 2 questions .. which influences have you guys chosen ??

I chose Technological influence and Economic influence ... But at that time I couldn't think of any implications for Technology .. I thought there isn't any negative point .. the last minute i just added that it increases the rate of unemployment if the business uses technology rather then workforce labor .

After the exam was over , and sat for a minute and the implications are coming to my mind and i was like SH*TTTT !!

but again wats the use , I will do Awesome in economics , I dont want to to the same as Business .. i will think here .

for the calculation i did;
60 meals*£12 which gives sales revenue of £720, then from that i did £720 - £120 (the variable cost) to find gross profit i think...then divide it by 12, and i got £10 for the average variable cost

The last question i had wrote was on inflation, and recession, but hadnt written many ppoints, mainly just the defenitions and a few impacts on what it will have on the business :/
