Reason: Excess area above the region R was taken by each strip (trapezium) made in the exponential curve.

3 marks weshud be loosing
 and the reason for the overestimate cud also be the curve shifts inwards ...

The first question: S(2X+3X^(1/2)) (upper value 4; lower value 1) for C2
you get 29

Area Triangle=1/2(b)(h)
=.5(23/5)(8 )
=18.4

and it's 23/5 because the y-intercept (C) was 23/5

281 or 280  for surface area
 nd for r i think 6.5565 or smethign similar i dnt rmember :S

answer for my surface area was 280 and my value for r was 9.5565. and in c2 paper the question in which we have to apply trapezium rule to find the area .what was the area i was getting about 6.133

I have my answers in the formula booklet that they let me keep after the exam lolz^^
So once I get home if anyone needs any specific questions I most likely have them down  :)
