hi people,

whats the formula connecting the number of electrons, time, and charge?
it was on M/J 02

q 7c) i) and ii)

thanks alot, Just need to know the formula, I ve forgotten it! ???

Q=net

great! , thanks but what does e stand for , n is number of electrons, q is charge, t is time right?

it's a very similar arrangement to the cathode ray tube.
can u explain n tell me
please :)

here's a rough drawing of the thing

mana, for part ii), the readings that would need to be taken are: First, record the background radiation (without the source and absorber), then record the radiation count with the source (using the detector) and lastly, record the radiaiton count with source and absorber (using the detector).

P.S Did anyone try drawing for Q7a), May/June 2008, paper 3???
THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH :D:D:D:D:D :D ;D

alright
but yab3 if they ask (irrelevent to markzs) this much labelling iss enough? bcuz i have three book but none of them have this method:S
ooh so could Cathode ray tube could be mention too
bcuz thats also to identify beta particle:S
By the way + rep for u:D

thanks!
yes, this labelling is enough. there's nothing left to label anyways. you may put the whole setting inside a tube or not. Depends.
it's not exactly a CRT. (we r measuring the percentage of beta particles passing through the aluminium sheet)
