When people talk in arabic on this site they often use numerals like 7.  Why is that so ?

I can read and understand some arabic so I get confused when I see the numbers.  :-\

If I'm not mistaken, the 7 is for 'Al'....

And 3 is for ''a'.

well these are for letters that arent in English cuz most europeans and americans can't pronounce it.
I cant really explain but 7 is for (hhhhh) but not h. 3 is for (aaaa) not a. 2 is for (aa) as if ur sayin 2yyyyy(hurt or someone hit u xD)
