In england at the moment a mother and her boyfriend are on trial after the woman's 7 year old daughter statved to death. Evidenbce given today said her brother would go to school every day and rifle through school cupboards looking for food. When a doctor gave him a sandwich he ate it as though trying to protect it from anyone who might steal it. The doctor said he had never seen anything like it.
On average in England 2 children a week are beaten to death by their parents.
