Business Studies. AS and A2.
« on: August 29, 2011, 03:50:33 pm »
Im doing my AS levels currently.
The subjects i've chosen are- Math, English, Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Business Studies
I know its a weird collection, but i'm just keeping my options open!

Now, what i want to know is, or rather what i want to be advised on is, whether or not i should continue with Business Studies in my A2? I'll be keeping Physics, Eco, Chem and Math for sure. And English would be kept only till the AS levels as i'm not really interested in taking english forward. But in the case of Business Studies, I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO! CONFUSION. :D
I mean, ive done business in my IGCSE and I did well. But now, after looking at my books, i don't think im learning a lot of new stuff. :/ So why take the burden further in A2? why not just concentrate on the other four subjects?

OOOOOOOORRR, I could take BS. I dont know! what do you guys think? Say whatever comes to your head, feel free :)

Hello. :)

Masha Allah, five subjects. Woah. Good luck!

I think you need not worry about that NOW.

Concentrate on your AS atm. Decide that after yer AS results come out. Until then I am sure you will know yerself what's best for you. ;)

All the best! :D

Forget about A2, concentrate on your AS.

You don't know what future holds for you then why waste time mulling over it?

What if say, you decide to choose a field where Business Studies is crucial?  Or what if you change your mind about Chemistry and chuck it's A2 part?

Hope for the best.  ;)

Get rid of Business Studies. You really do not need it if you do well in your other Social Sciences.

You've chosen both science and business subjects. If you plan to get into commerce, drop physics and chemistry and add accounting.

English is expendable if you plan to do IELTS/TOEFL.

@Romeesa, yeah, five subjects, ill need the luck :P
Will be concentrating on my current subjects. Hope i do well in the AS. Thank you (:

@Lady , you make a point there. But im pretty sure ill be doing something in commerce! but as my parents say, and i dont disagree with them on this, its better to keep your options open! im pretty confused in the head you see  ;D

@the others.. its not a burden! i love business, but i just dont find it as useful as economics or the others..! i mean, i feel i can study that bit of the A2 portion without the need to give an exam for it! BLEH. lets see what happens..

Thank you people!
