You have to compress the file.

If you have picture manager then open the picture with that and at the top it's written edit picture , click that and a box opens on the right.
At the bottom of the box , click compress files and 4 options will appear . I choose the "Web File "option and the picture reduced e.g from 3 mb to 30 kb like the one I uploaded earlier.
