then, let's get back to the xps writer. set the default printer as the xps document writer (control panel< printers and faxes). right click on the xps printer and set it as the default printer. go to the scribd document, select the print option once again.

well anyways,
if it's taking long, then follow what you have to do afterwards:
click on the print option in the scribd document and select the printer as being the xps document writer.
Then click print.
It will ask you for the filename. save it on the desktop and name it whatever you want.
well, the document is saved on the desktop as an xps file.
Go to the internet and download this program to convert the xps file into pdf format:

ok follow this
click on the print option in the scribd document and select the printer as being cutepdfwriter.
Then click print.

the saved file is in pdf format automatically.
