Title: Will genetic mapping to do more harm than good? If so then why??

ayyt now this is sumthing we did in our As and i hav been looking into my A2 books too. This topic is in fact a debate topic set by our Debate course instructor to research on  ...so Sf ppl wat do u think???

Nice topic.

It is supposed to be good for human. But maybe humans are not yet psychologically able to stand the fact that they may, for example, die at the age of 20 according to their genetic makeup.

It will not. It will make us all into robots cause now we know what our genes are making us do.

it depends...on A LOT OF THINGS!!
depends on the problem, on the need for doing such a thing, the money a country can spend on sth which you're not even sure if it can solve the problem...and then at the end, its not in our hands, its the authorities who decide.
for all the diseases that we see these days, its extremely useful. and i find genetic mapping SO not a problem unless someone misuses it. which is ofc another issue. it can do A LOT OF GOOD...the harm happens when it's used that way!!
