Today is the results for the 10th graders who have successfully passed their 10th grade with flying colours..
Declared on 3 pm (UTC+05:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi

yea i used to take ICSE till 8th grade .. joined IGCSE after that .. almost two years now havnt touched a icse book ! this time the results are marvelous .. people getting a 65% in mocks have scored abv 85% !! really happy for them .. and most of my friends do ICSE

~VIN1094~: Same here! ICSE until Grade 8, then changed to IGCSE. Many of my friends from my ex-school do ICSE. Looks like marks were good this time. :) Hope we do well too, in IGCSE.

Same! I personally feel IGCSE is cooler. At first I found the sciences easy, back in Grade 9. Then i realized IGCSE is diffrent. You gotta analyse stuff more than rote learn and spit out answers on papers...like they do in ICSE. :P I am obviously an IGCSE fan. ;D How many subjects are you doing it in?

Absolutely .. my classmates all from ICSE (same school which introduced IG 2 yrs ago n we are the first batch =P) IG is nothing like ICSE .. no rattafying n stuff .. all application and analysis .. i feel rattafying is easier =P

~VIN1094~: Hahaha, i can't rattafy. That's why I hated ICSE. :P I love IGCSE 'because of that, very less to learn. Mostly just pay attention in class, go through notes a lot...and past papers are the key. In ICSE, have to learn sooo much. :( Me dislike. lol

It is supposed to be core I guess, I'm not sure because core students also appear for the paper. I'm just guessing though.

haha :P I mean like paper 1 is supposed to based on core syllabus as people who've taken core appear for it so I though as they appear for paper 6 too, it is also based on core. Never mind we are through :P
..
ALL ADMISSIONS HERE (India) ARE STILL PENDING FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO DO HSC. So people are looking out for different boards, like for instance I have a couple students from ICSE and SSE doing A - Levels in my class..

No no just IG this year. But initially I started my schooling by ICSE. I changed to IG by passing what we call here 8th Grade.
