Title: after results
Post by: Rashro0osh on May 09, 2010, 06:41:00 pm
did u ever cry after getting a bad exam results? :'(. well for me, i look around  me in this day full of tragedy and i see friends i care about crying, i feel like crying. i dont rly care wt i got cz i knw i did my best and thats wt i care abt, i try learning from my mistakes and looking ahead for better results. But then i remember that i hv to face ma parents and i hv to hear the disappointment they feel abt my result, well it makes me feel bad but then i keep repeating i can't do anything, it's already done , so i end up eventually nt feeling bad at all. ;)
For guyz i wouldn't say cry but did u feel bad abt ur self??

Getting bad results, in many cases, the person blames themselves, because sometimes, they dont always give their best. Sometimes, if they do, they are at a state of loss, because they simply were not good enough for that grade.

This reminded me of when I was small, and I did not do so well. I always hated it, because I tried hard, but failed. But, you know, the thing is to never give up, and the keep moving forward.

Thank you for this topic, it gave me a nice walk down memory lane.

Glad to see you are active in the forum.

I'd cried badly for my art exams, then when I was studying art...

It was for nothing.

I got the first place at school.

Just a use of time, crying, esp. when you know there is much more to do AFTER the exams as well.  ;)

What ever wrong is begotten, whatever sorrow be suffered.
All is well
If all is forgotten
And forgiven

Rudyard kipling once said,
If you can bear to see, what you have worked all your life for, broken and destroyed infront of you
And if you can build them up with worn out tools
You will be a man....

Just remember, that whatever happens will happen. You just gotta stay strong ;)

When I was very young (in grade 1 and 2), there were this 3 girls who always used to pick on me. And they were the toppest students in class. They were, I think, very jealous of me. Today, after 10 long years, I still wish I could meet them and teach them a very good lesson they would never forget ever... :(

Been writing this out of anger! :D

I normally don't cry, just really sad cuse I always do the silliest of mistakes. However its my parents who sometimes make me feel down with their "who got better than you?" questions. I just feel then that I should have given them better :/

That's just soo funny :D If only they weren't the ones who give the pocket money :P. If only feelings were something we had control on.

What do you think?

I dont know, you should know.

If you've studied hard all year round and done all the past papers then I am pretty sure you'll do well.  :)

Sometimes I think I should though

Why, if you worry, your thought process gets screwed, and then, well you do bad in the exams. Anything wrong that you would like to share.

looooooooooooooool.!

You are meaaaaann :P

Personally I believe that we get what we deserve. What we work for.
Yes- we have the natrually clever, bright kids, but it doesn't mean they don't study.

And then we have the "not-so-clever kids" who I don't believe in because if you want something, you can always go get it, doesn't matter how big/small it is.

For me- I have the most supporting parents, anyone can ask for 7amdulilah.
As long as they know I worked for it, doesn't matter what I get.

However, I on the other hand, upset by quite a few of my results, but to be honest- I've realised that there's a reason I haven't got what I wanted to get.

I believe in the subconscience, where somewhere in my mind, it has told me that there is too much "pain" used in trying to get to what I want, and not enough pleasure from the outcome.

Im trying to change my mind set though =/

:)

Every setback is an opportunity to do something better.
Think like that and you will end up being the best at something.

Will be the wind mill
that grind the rice
to give you strength
to accomplish your aim
but if aim be false
then all is at loss
and it was all much ado
about nothing.

Much ado about nothing was a phrase shakespeare took from a french write I'm afraid..... :-\

He took most stories from a variety of writers and made them interesting.

A French writer...? Hugo? Moliere? You know who...?

He took them? It's the first time I hear this... Didn't know.
