Dear members,
StudentForums is looking for a new logo and we are asking you, the general members of the site, to suggest designs for a brand new logo!!
- It has to suit the theme of the forum.
- It must contain either 'StudentForums' or 'SF' in the logo.
- It must be designed from scratch i.e. no copyrighted images to be used!
You can use whatever Programs you want to design your logo such as GIMP or Photoshop for example.
Once you have created your logo design, you can submit it in two ways:
You can post it here on the thread or if you're worried someone will copy your design, you can message one of the Administrators or Moderators the file (Please include PSD/GIMP files as well as jpeg/jpg output files).
The deadline for the competition will be July 31st 2010 (We realise people have exams to do as well so it's a long time to create your logos!)
You can submit multiple logo designs if you so wish however only a Maximum of 5 designs per person may be submitted.
Good Luck with creating your Logos!!

Okay, I have made three on the net...
First is a formal one
Second is kind of related to computers with a keyboard showing
Third is a word mosaic in the shape of "V" victory

but, AboD what you've created is the header of the website! :D :D :D :D
Just create the logo! ;)
this is too simple to be set as logo.. and, don't use black and blue because it's used in this logo; use your imagination!
Let's stick to 2d logo, since 3d will be time consuming and you have your exams approaching.
If we want some animation, we can cerate one which will animate when we hover the mouse over it.

i used the golden logo that alpha posted

and the final one looks good
decided to remove the animation as it doesn't look good with a 3D logo :P

And when you're typing SF, can you try not to 'mix' the letters...? Overlapping is okay, as long as we clearly can read 'SF'.
Can you try one, without changing the colour and the size of the pic you used? I would like to see how the original one would look.

Okay this is my first try for the logo..And not so good..very basic and simple

How about these logos? :) I tried to preserve the transparency in the first but in jpg thats not possible :-\

I don't have anywhere to put the basic logo I done in paint so I just set it as my avatar.
I'll figure out how to do this whole pictures thing sometime.
