But can we also have some abstract designs?
Snow isn't necessarily portrayed by its physical state, it can also by colour: white. If the background is more striking than necessary, attention that should be to the article is instead focused on the background. That's why I prefer abstract designs.
White doesn't mean it has to all white, it can be degraded, see I've brought some samples:
