I guess you all will be doing Anatomy (http://www.scribd.com/doc/23315915/Introduction-in-Human-Anatomy), Physiology (http://www.scribd.com/doc/19091471/Introduction-to-Physiology) and Biochemistry (http://www2.chemistry.msu.edu/faculty/reusch/VirtTxtJml/carbhyd.htm).

Here are some books or links which might help you. ;)

If you have some doubts, feel free to post. We'll do our maximum to help. ;)

Ameen :)

I'll be appearing in May ;)

Anatomy is vast but very much interesting :D My Anat books are Chaurasia and Gray's :D But you should study examwise, take a look at the past papers of your seniors! These may guide you as to what type of questions are usually ask!

What do you mean by cards, items and terms?

HAHA, leave Grays and study AK Dutta's Human anatomy, you'll do yourself a BIG favor. He is good, and I think at MBBS level, if we know all that's there in AK Dutta's, it'll be more than enough. Even Chaurasia is good, but he is brief. Helps in briefing. :D If you're good with Gray, I am sure you're really good mashaAllah, I haven't even opened Gray's cos its not recommended and I knew it'd have a real 'heavy-duty' technical language that wouldn't seep into my head. :P

OF COURSE, although it is vast, I love it as well. Oh cards and terms are the names of exams, basically-- item is the name of the class test you give immediately after you finish every chapter- bones of thorax for example, and card- when you finish one portion, like thorax and term constitutes of 3cards, happens usually at the end of 6 months, so yeah, there. I thought they were common medical curriculum terms :P, though the word 'item' is definitely worth giving a thought to. Why on earth would something be 'item' :P Dunno :-\

Anyways, all the very best.

Actually I study in Chaurasia but then only confirms certain things in Grays ;) Grays is like my encyclopedia, just for checking things that are not so clear in Chaurasia ;) I'll take a look at your book, do you have any links?

Ooh......it's not really the same here then! We've got monthly's meaning exam each month on the topics you've covered during that month ;) ANd then semester exam which are at the end of 6 months ;)

Same to you :)

My weakness is Physiology :(

Mine is Anatomy atm. -.- I LOVE the subject. <3 It's so amazing and interesting but then I mess up in the exam; specially in the practicals with the cadavers. :(

You guysssss, I'm jealous  ::)  :P

PS- all my subjects are prerequisite; I mess up one - I am gone for life. -.-

I don't know why exactly but each time I try to study Physio I end up sleeping on the book :P

Yeah Anatomy is always like that........Just keep on looking at your notes and prepare your own after reading those from the books...............even the drawings, invent your own after reading all the relations and all such that you may add the blood vessels and nerves too..............create your own atlas ;) And colour it without forgetting the labellings ;)

Might help :)

DK, ONE MONTH IS SO MUCH!! MashaAllah you're blessed. But :P, I hope I can beat you in the race of doctors by studying more than you, and harder than you. :P :P :P
Kidding bro, best of luck. Please do pray for me, I miss my parents each day, yesterday my mom on the phone goes like- "sometimes, I am so mad that my daughter left me just cos of her edu"... I love my parents so much. Oops, I am carried away. But I trust Allah and know He'll make it easy for me, inshaAllah.

By the way, angel, where are going to study? InshaAllah, you going to study MBBS as well? Great :). Alhamdulillah. :)

Does that mean you don't even get hols?

Am sure you can do it :) If there's a will there's a way ;) Anyway statistics prove that girls are better than boys, so I don't think I stand a chance against you :P By the way we can kinda revise one day if you don't mind ;)

Sure :) Actually that's kinda my only advantage here, am back home with my whole family at the end of the day :) + I don't have to cook :P

You put your trust in the right one dear ;) Am sure he'll guide you to success here and in the hereafter Insha Allah :)
