I was wondering if there are any die-hard Harry Potter fans around?
If yes, then please post your comments, views, etc. here :)
But if you are a hater then it would be best if you don't post in this topic. I don't take critism well, especially where Harry Potter is concerned :P

My bus friend forced me to read Order of Phoenix ( when we were in Grade 9) - and since then i got addicted. I read the whole series countless number of times. :) And i never get bored of them!
Instead, I bore my friends by talking about Harry Potter, all the time.

Severus Snape? Yeah its quite ironical... Its sad though that he had to die in that manner, maybe another, more noble..... would've surely been better.

Some great ways to annoy, harass, confuse, or generally scare Lord Voldemort.
Sure-fire ways to get yourself killed, or at least Crucio'd round the block and back again.
Make sure to read the whole thing, it's worth it!
1. Ask him why he doesn't have such a cool scar.
2. Call him The-Guy-Who-Let-The-Boy-Live.
3. Smile during Death Eater meetings and say you taught him everything he knows.
4. Remind him that he isn't even really alive.
5. Ask him when he last took a bath.
6. Pat him on the head and give him flowers when his plans are foiled yet again
7. Play "knock and run" at his bedchamber door late at night.8. Ask him why the Dark Mark couldn't look like something more "sociably acceptable".
9. If you ever need to say "Like taking candy from a baby", be sure to add: '"Of course, SOME of us might find that harder than others." Stare pointedly at him.
10. When he tries to impress you with his immense powers, say "Awwwww, lookit, Voldie's got a twiggle!"
11. Roll your eyes during plotting sessions and say things under your breath like "You're the boss, boss" or "It's your funeral."
12. Buy him eye drops for "that dreadful redness".
13. Greet him in the mornings with a sarcastic "My sir, you look particularly menacing today."
14. Taunt him about his middle name. "Marvolo? What's that, a washing detergent?"
15. Keep a "good-behavior chart". Award points and give out gold stars.
16. Magic-marker Potter-style glasses on him while he sleeps.
17. Apparate into and out of his room rapidly. Do this non-stop for an hour. *poof* there *poof* gone *poof* there...

Duh, I watched it too! Not that great, seriously....I mean I was sitting right at the end, with my friends on my other side...totally silent..and suddenly I saw Bathilda and I go like-" She's looking like a clown''...;D
I watched it in the second week after it's release!! There could have been so many parts when the scenes could've been so much more appealing...actually there are just too many events to be covered..trying to fit in everything probably must have been hard. I rate it 2 stars out of 5..
Ron and Harry's run-in was so brief...it lost it's effect! Voldemort was supposed to be looking scarier than ever...as in- he should have been very ferocious..like the way his reign's been described- the time and the whole situation of wars- the movie missed all of that. Maybe all those of us who have read the books, are just too overwhelmed by what's there in the book and our expectations...are ultimately the base for them!! ::)

Severus Snape's Death Scene Altered
In the November 2010 issue of Cine Premiere Mexico, Harry Potter art director Andrew Ackland-Snow revealed that the death of Severus Snape has been altered, with the approval of JK Rowling. Mr. Ackland-Snow is quoted as saying "[JK Rowling] loved it."
Remember that Severus Snape, in the book, was killed by Nagini within the confines of the Shrieking Shack.
According to the film’s art director, Andrew Ackland-Snow, Severus Snape’s death scene has been moved from the Shrieking Shack to the Boathouse — a decision that was made to give the scene a “more dramatic atmosphere . . . it’s a very romantic place to die. Snape dies in a extremely good way, I gotta say.” According to Andrew the scene has author J.K. Rowling’s seal of approval, but does it have yours?

Harry Potter fans, get excited! The first image from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II has been released and it features a bloody, ravaged Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis) in a scene from the dramatic fight sequence near the end. We can also see Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter) in the background but this appears to be a Neville moment (if you’ve read the book, you can probably guess what this image depicts). Also making news with the second instalment is how one key scene from the book has been changed. I won’t spoil it here but read on after the jump if you want to find out.

Hi you guys i just saw this post. I'm a huge potter fan. I started reading them in year 2 and have eagerly anticipated every book. I remember the tension waiting for The deathly hallows to reach me after i had preordered it. I didnt sleep until i finished it. And yeah i agree with Amelia the ending was disappointing. :-\ I expected them to duel. One spell and then poof voldermorts dead was sort of an anti-climax. As for all the questions about my fav things in hp.
Patronus: Probably a puma.
Fav professor: Definitely Lupin.
Fav Characters: Dumbledore, Harry (Ofc) ;D and the Weasley twins because theyre so original and they add the humor to the story.
Book: Definately number 3 (the prisoner of Azkaban) because harry finally has a family member (i was so pissed off when Sirius died in the order of the Phoenix. I heard JK rowling was planning on killing off Ron but she switched to Sirius.I wish she hadn't.
Movie: I loved the Chamber of secrets because it was almost exactly like the book. I hated number 7 part 2. Where in the book do Harry and Voldermort fly around the castle for gods sake?
I HATED Bellatrix Lestrange so much by the end of the series.
