How are CIE Grades determined ?

Each paper you answer carries a certain Weighting. A paper with a heavier Weight contributes more to your final grade than a paper with a lower weight.

At IGCSE level you can only obtain a maximum of an A on each INDIVIDUAL paper, but overall you may obtain an A* for the subject depending on the Grade Threshold.
