Title: Will these be tough?
Post by: ekjw96 on August 06, 2010, 10:22:39 am
Hey everyone,

Do y'all think having three single science subjects, accouting, Malay as second language, additional maths (or history), English as first language and English literature, core mathematics, and ICT as good subject choices? Will they be tough?

Thanks. :)

Keep history in there, its a humanitarian subject. You get credit for that at Uni (I think...it helped me a lot in personal life)

And having a commerce subject is also a good idea.

add maths will also help u in add maths if u intend to do further degrees in it.......
bt am not against history..............i've alwez love to learn abt the past of my country :P

well......2 me litterature is 2 boring.

i just have to chose the subjects that u like...........n only then it wont b tough  :)

All of those subjects? They are a lot actually.

History requires loads of memorizing while additional math requires loads of thinking, so both of them are just different.

And why will you take core mathematics?

Accounting will be a very scoring subject. Good choice. Same goes to ICT.

If your doing add math you'll be expected to be good at math.

If you arent so sure about your mathematical capabilities take the extended normal math.

However, Add math will help you TREMENDOUSLY in A Levels.

English Literature is something you take out of interest and not because you just want to take on more subjects.

You have to be pretty good at English.

Accounting ? PFFFT !!!!  ::)

Thats the easiest subject ever - just make sure to understand the basics and you'll be fine.  ;)

I did most of the subjects you listed, just that I did math and add math, accountings and econs, three sciences, EFL, MFL, CFL and ICT.

I got 10 A* and 1 A. Its not tough, just make sure you keep yourself up to date and listen in class most importantly.

Other than that, good luck.

The confirmed subjects are: English and English Literature, Accountings, Bio, Chem, Physics, ICT, Add Maths, Maths, Malay(only in my country) and Personal and Social Education (non-examined).

To break down further, the compulsory subjects in my school are: English and English Literature, ICT, Maths, Malay (required for all Malaysians) and Personal and Social Education.

I was given five subject choices, which are :Accountings, Bio, Chem, Physics, Add Maths.

Sorry for the late reply, had to service my cpu.

Thanks.
