@vin about india studies ya we study all the current issues of india like insurgency, corruption, child marriage, and others so we sit and find solutions about how to reduce all these matters n all than we have different core themes like politics, democracy, environmental sustainability, economic development, etc. :)
i tell you it is dammm boring...

That's the spirit! :D :P
If you find all the solutions, what would the government do? :P :P Hmm.. I see, so nothing interesting? I mean something in-favour of the country? I see politics, democracy, environmental sustainability, economic development.. so is it more like Civics which we normally have/had?
-
yep it should be there. ...unfortunately :D
altho one thing i dont get is
why are people called by their surname, instead of their first name?

That is because it is supposed to be your name! :P :P
-
Name is name. I have around 5 or 6 different names which people use to call me. They are often components of my full name/surname. :D
-

lol ok supposed to..but i v my OWN REAL name too, right? :D
@stylish .. that is ok .. but im talking about the formal world

haha right. Only older people like adults are interested in calling by second names, with an exception of a couple of my friends :P :P

-
Yes > Overpopulation. We name trees, animals, buildings, roads, cities, even jungles.
-
guys i appreciate your replies but please be a bit more specific about WHY?
@alpha i didn't get your point can you please explain it again...
-
guys plz help me quickly i have to give the project day after tomorrow..plz plz plz plz HELP.....!!!!
-
yes surnames must be there always, its a recognition, it identifies the members of a family.
-
Yes, to distinguish between people and families. Let us say two girls are named Sara. Imagine how it would be like if there was no surname, how will we know which one we are talking about?
Will we say 'Sara, the tall and red headed girl'? Won't it be easier if we say 'Sara David' only ?
It is just used to also recognize families, which members are related to which.
Also if you are searching for someone lost from your family, writing their name and surname might help you finding them rather than just writing one name which millions will be having.
