Mathematics is a must, if you drop physics, you will not be able to apply for engineering courses.

If you're doing IB dropping math is out of the question. What you could do is opt for math studies which is a very basic maths course if you really dislike the subject so much...

A-levels! You only need 3-4 subjects of your choice for that :)

y do u wanna drop math , if u don't mind me asking ?
FYI most universities don't accept students who don't take math , cuz it's a very important subject u kno :) ....well i hope u rethink ur decision ,but don't mind me cuz in the end it's ur choice :)

Just take Math Studies like I'm taking it now. Don't worry, it's not too difficult.
It involves taking an Internal Assessment, meaning a long term coursework. It does not involve Additional Mathematics (with the exception of the very very basics of Calculus, which is only Differentiation). It's basically lots of elementary Mathematics at its easiest. So if you want to do IB, just take Math Studies. However, you should see if the university you plan to get into will accept that subject. Some universities may not, some do depending on what you are doing in the future.

alright guys i think as gg said i'll rethink about his..:)
but i don't wanna take it 'cause i am not that good at math and i am scared i'll loose my marks and lessen my overall grade 'cause of bad marks in math....:( :(
n does IB have the easy math..???

Why don't you take Mathematics SL? If you want to do MBA, english and maths are mandatory subjects. Well you'll have to work hard though. But I'm sure you'll do really well ;)
You can drop Maths in A Levels, but not sure abput IB.

gd thought MTB :)

@vin ya i know if i try i will do it nicely..
@gg..:P lol thanx..
-
haha lol ..anytime :)

Well, if you're going to take a course in university that does not involve Mathematics at all, not the least bit, then just opt to take Math Studies SL in IB.
Unless you wanna take A levels...
Trust me, Math Studies SL is quite easy, there is completely no A Math except a little bit of Calculus, but really only the most basic differentiation. Look, you don't even learn logarithms, or use the function of radian (rad) on your calculator! ;D

I wonder if her school provides Math studies..
