Title: External Hard disk Problem
Post by: Freaked12 on June 16, 2010, 02:04:28 pm
I have sea gate FreeAgent drive with a total space of 232 gb..

I like collecting movies and American drama series and i have filled up 201 gb of the hard disk.

Problem is it is in ntfs format.

The Dvd or Tv or ps3 cannot detect this hard drive so i have to copy the movie to a smaller usb so i could watch it on tv.

Any way i could change the format of hard drive without erasing all the existing data?

I don't think its possible. You have to format the hard drive for that.

I suggest you that copy the important data in your computer or in some friends computer and then format the drive. In this way you won't lose any data.
