can anybody tell me the difference between enthalpy of hydration and the enthalpy of solution ? ???

solution: dissolving solute in solvent to form a solution
hydration: dissolvinv gaseous ions in solvent to form a solution.

enthalpy ???

in college, enthalpy is the combination of U + PV. (combination property)
