Title: Lots Of Physics P2 Doubts- help?

I have lots of doubts here and I’d highly appreciate it if I could get help for the bundle of them. Thank you =]

OctNov04- 3(c)

OctNov04- 5(b)(i)(ii)(iii)

MayJune05- 6(b)(i)(iv)

OctNov05- 5(c)(ii)

MayJune06- 6(c)

OctNov07- 2(d)(ii)

OctNov07- 4(c)

MayJune08- 3(c)(i)(ii)

OctNov08- 1(b)(ii)

OctNov08- 2(a)(i)(ii)

OctNov08- 1(b)(ii)

I=nSqv^k
A=(m^-3)(m^2)(As)((ms^-1)^k)
A gets cancelled.....shift (m^-3)(m^2)(s) to the LHS.....
(m^3)(m^-2)(s^-1)=((ms^-1)^k)
ms^-1=(ms^-1)^k
so k=1

OctNov08- 2(a)(i)(ii)

(a) (i) final speed=0
         initial speed=v
         a=0.85*9.81
         s=12.8
         v^2=2as
         v^2=2*0.85*9.81*12.8
             v=14.6m/s


    (ii) t=s/v
         t=29.3/14.6
         t=2s

OctNov(a)(i) Why do we use 12.8 and not 29.3 as the “s”value?
