Title: PHYSICS PAPER 42 THRESHOLD
Post by: Gaz on May 28, 2010, 08:39:22 am
What do you people think the threshold is going to be for the Physics 42? Please do not discuss the paper yet. Thanks.

The section B is so difficult, but section A is better
so the threshold should be about 60 for A(lower than normal a little), and about 52 for B(as normal as past)

Do you think it is difficult or easy?

i think the paper was easy. i couldnt recall some formulas and hence lost marks. i hope it falls around 55-60 for an a.  :-X

I think the formulas used are pretty common

I think the threshold is around 66.

This was a little bit harder than usual BUT overall its still not too difficult.

Section B is Easy.

Section A is a little bit tricky at Explaining stuffs.
If you got 50 for section A and 20 for Section B, Its a guaranteed A.

Boost the possibility with paper 5 guys !!! ;D ;D ;D

That must A, no threshold can be higher than 70%
I have the same feeling as you, the questions in section b is also easy if you did past papers
check you message and i want to discuss the last question with you

I think the formulas used are pretty common

i usually wait till the end to memorize the formulas, which didnt work this time. i couldnt remember A=lambda*N and so lost 4 marks...  :-\

I REALLY hope that the threshold is extremely low, because I couldn't even finish the paper. Not enough time!  :-X I'm extremely slow at doing physics. I couldn't even finish any of the AS papers last October/November.

I'm also slow when doing the past papers, but not as slow as yesterday. I think I left about 20 marks blank.  :'(
