Title: Edexcel Maths S1 May 27th 2010 Paper

Solutions Attatched : Password = S1
 -- Var(X) is meant to be 2.1 & not 3.1 By the way, which means my value for Var(Y) is wrong too as i was in a hurry to produce the solutions.

can someone please attach the unofficial mark scheme here?

The hyperlink gives a download that is tooo freaking slow on my computer for some reason. I havent paid to use megauploads.

So can someone who hs downloaded the unofficial markscheme please attach it to this or some other post so people can actually use it?

for q4 e
does the 'given that the student reads one of the magazines' apply?
cuz i made the probabilities out of 20 not 30 based on this and i got that they arent independant..
 ???
