Title: What's up with my Keyborad ?
Post by: Vin on May 27, 2010, 08:44:41 pm

I searched about it on google too .. I use a logitech wireless MK 250 for my Desktop.. really cool, light weight, compact and seems as though im typing on a laptop .. it has the "FN" (function)  key on it just like laptops which are normally not found on a desktop keyboard (or at least i havnt seen them anywhere) .. and the mouse with it is pretty good too.. the thing is ..

The keys interchange !!

This has happened twice before and when i reboot my pc it works fine .. but not this time ..

@ and " have interchanged

~ works the key just below backspace .. SHIFT + \

¬¬¬ ¬¬ yes guys a new symbol ¬¬¬¬ .. works with the key which types ~

# and £££ can u believe  £ £ ££ im typing the pound sign on the keyboard ££ - SHIFT + 3

i can no longer type  \

I know theres a special thread for computer issues but i wanted to share it with all ... wired eh ?  :-\

Either restart PC, or change language in control panel.

Otherwise, you need to re-map your keyboard.

What was the problem...?
I think you should reinstall the driver of the keyboard.

This has nothing to do with Wireless or not...And even if you have installed US and UK..the active one should be noted down...
For changing your keyboard language..i think its Alt+ SHIFT on Windows PCs...
This always happens to me...
Generally, veryone prefers the US type keyboard...Thts cuz Microsoft is US-based, and its default..but the problem is when the user buy a UK keyboard..i mean you never now!!They are both English!!
I had to change my keyboard, and got the UK keyboard..but im just soo used to typing email address using the SHIFT + 2 keys..

Hi i have an issue too with my computer's keyboard (im using the laptop)
On the computer the whole family uses it so it has many users if i go on any other user the keyboard works perfectly fine but on mine the keyboard does not type so i have to use an Input panel to input any typing its wireless too By the way and i think someone(like a little kid) has manipulated the options but i tried them all nothing seemed to work ..
Any suggestions what to do ??

Well If its working for other users, then tht means the keyboard is fine..
Just go into control Panel>>Keyboard
And play around... :D
If u still cant find a solution..ill look into the details..Sorry for the inconvienience
