Look m8, Anode is positive and Its Cool , Bec. The Cathode is the one who gets Heated for Thermonic Emission, So the anode is the one with cool temp ;) Bec. it doesnt get heated. Anode only Controls the spoeed of Electrons, The Grids Control the amount of electrons.
Someone plz correct me if im wrong :)

I agree with Bassiouni. The cathode is the only part that gets heated to increase the average energy of the electrons, so that they spontaneously jump out. There is no need for the anode to be hot :)
