Title: ICT EMERGENCY!!!

right in the begining of the access questions in nov08, when u import the file n u want 2 assign the data types - whenever i change the 'special' feild 2 a yes/no feild it says that 151 records are deleted n wen i view th table its like ther isnt anything ticked!!! its drivin me crazy!! is ther a better way of changin this field type? ??? ???
im desperate 4 help my exam is 2moro!!!!!!!!! :( :(

An important notice is to change your computer's settings from the control panel to UK settings, as this will help you and you wont face troubles, I hope so.  Our teacher always told us to do that. Try it and then import again. And dont forget to change your computer's settings also before the exam.

Computer settings ?? wat do u mean by that ??

Before practicing or doing your exam, go to Control Panel -Regional Options-change both options to United kingdom. Then after you finish you can get them back

Well sgvaibhav Im really not sure, my teacher always told us that. As we could face problems during the exam. She said that she got a notice from the board about this point. So do it you wont lose anything friend

it will change these
Date format into "  dd/dd/yy " 
Currency from $  into pound  ( which is like that in Question paper )
change measuring from US  ( inches ) to metric ( cm )


these are help full in exam
